Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, greeted the Personnel of the State-Owned
Guard and Protection Service of Ukraine on the occupational holiday.
On Friday, Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, attended the celebration of the 19th anniversary of establishment of the State-Owned Guard and Protection Service of Ukraine held in the Officer´s Club in Kyiv. He expressed his sincere gratitude to the personnel of the State-Owned Guard and Protection Service for a competent, responsible and efficient fulfillment of their duties. "For 19 years, the Service has developed into an independent department that fulfills the tasks of national significance," V.Lytvyn stated.
The Head of the Parliament relates this achievement to the succession of generations in the Service and preservation of a unique experience.
On behalf of the state leaders and on his own behalf, Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, expressed his gratitude to the veterans who continue working. "I believe that the members of the State-Owned Guard and Protection Service never resign, as their expertise and experience are always sought-after," V.Lytvyn stated. It is this succession of generations that ensures that the State-Owned Guard and Protection Service of Ukraine will further support stable work of the authorities, security of the officials, and safety of the state facilities.
Several employees of the State-Owned Guard and Protection Service of Ukraine were conferred the awards of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for the substantial personal contributions
into the provision of security of the state authorities, exemplary performance
of their duties, and professionalism.
